The girls 4x8 relay won a State Championship with a winning time of 10:00.91 and the next closest team was 16 seconds behind.  We also had a state runner up in the 800 which was Bailey.

Other key performers at the state meet were the boys 4x8 finishing 3rd, Joe finishing 5th in the 100, Maria finishing 4th in the 400 and breaking the school record, Carly finishing 4th in the 1600 & the girls 4x4 finishing 4th.

In total we had 6 school records that came crashing down this season.  Below is a list of the records that fell.

At the Forsyth County Championships at Mt. Tabor HS Bailey broke the school record in the 800.  The old record was 2:24.51 and Bailey ran 2:23.10.

The boys 4x2 relay (CJ, Rainier, Jimmy, Joe) broke the school record in a time of 1:33.52 at the Conference Championships.  The old record was 1:34.02.

The girls Distance Medley (Bailey, Maria, Sarah Grace, Carly) broke the school record in a time of 13:45.42 at the Tabor Twilight.  The old record was 14:03.

Joe took down his own 100 record with a time of 11.00 at the Regional Championships.  His old record was 11.03.

The boys 4x8 relay (Leland, William, Greg, Zach) broke the school record in a time of 8:19.08 at the State Championships.  The old record was 8:21.

Maria broke the 400 record with a time of 58.42 at the State Championships and the old record was 58.64.

We had several relays and individuals qualify for the 1A State Championships.  Below are those that qualified.

At the Regional Championships we had 2 relays and one individual win a Regional Championship.  The boys 4x8 & the girls 4x8 won as did Joe in both the 100 & 200.
