Join SABC! The Seaman Athletic Booster Club (SABC) is a great way to get involved with the SHS students, staff, and parents.  Boosters are fun raisers, not just fund raisers.  Our "fun" comes from the boosting, support and social activities.  We hope you choose to become an active member of the Boosters and will share in the support we offer to the athletics program at Seaman High School.   Participating with the SABC is the best way to meet the parents of your kids’ teammates while giving something worthwhile to the school and community. Often many patrons see the Boosters working to raise funds for the athletic programs at Seaman High School but don’t know where the money is spent.  Our largest expense is supporting the coach’s wish list.  Each year coaches of all 21 sports along with the cheerleading sponsor submit a “wish list” of items that would assist in supporting our athletes.  The list contains items the school could not necessarily fund or afford without the assistance of donations.  In the last 9 years over $163,000 worth of items were submitted and unanimously approved by the Seaman Athletic Booster Club.  We could not have done this without all of the volunteers coordinating and working our fund raising activities.  

Other areas the SABC supports:

·         Provide all Athletic Letters, Bars, and Patches.

·         Provide hospitality rooms for coaches, officials and staff at sporting events and tournaments.

·         Maintain & update the Viking Billboard on Topeka Blvd. located across from Tarwaters.

·         Layout, publish and provide all Sports Programs that are handed out at the games free of charge.

·         Have a watermelon feed for all athletes participating in Fall Sports.

·         Operate concessions at JV and Freshman football games

·         Provide all flowers for Senior nights.

·         Volunteer for concessions, cleaning, cooking and assisting with Seaman Relays

·         Financial sponsor for Afterglow

·         Pay for updates made to Banners & States signs located within the school auditorium

·         Host and organize the Homecoming bonfire – Build the bonfire and serve juice & cinnamon rolls.

·         Provide Prize money & judges for Homecoming parade float competition.

·         Host annual dinner, dance & auction for all businesses that contribute to the SABC athletic program. 

·      Provide and place State Signs in each yard for all athletes qualifying for State competition.
