Welcome to the 2010 - 2011 Season!
It's that time again. We are in the intial stages of planning our 12th season. Once again, we will field teams at the 4th through 8th grade levels. Plans are to have two teams at both 4th and 5th grade. The potential of additional teams at the older levels will depend upon interest and talent.
4th and 5th grade tryouts have been scheduled for Saturday, October 23rd and Sunday the 24th.

This is the home page of the Vernon Hills Junior Cougars Boys Traveling Basketball Teams. We are an organization committed to the development of both team and individual basketball skills for 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade boys. Currently our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade teams are organized as feeder teams and play under league rules which require all players to reside in an area eligible to attend Vernon Hills High School. Our 4th and 5th grade teams participate in a non-feeder league that requires all players to live in Vernon Hills or bordering communities that do not compete in the same league (e.g. Mundelein).
Regarding this website, every year we delete the previous year's information and rebuild the site. This website will become the place for you to check schedules, results, statistics and even chat with your teammates and friends. Parent volunteers are being sought to help us maintain the site and maximize it's value and fun.
