1995 AAA Pee Wee Major Valley Forge Minutemen
Welcome to the eteamz Website of the 1995 AAA Pee Wee Major Valley Forge Minutemen!The 1995 Valley Forge Minutemen are a Tier I AAA ice hockey club playing out of Oaks, PA. The Minutemen organization has a rich history of success at the local and national levels including winning the USA Hockey Pee Wee Major National Championship in 1999. Many alumni of the Minutemen teams have gone on to play prep school, junior hockey and college hockey. The Minutemen have recently expanded their commitment to providing opportunities to talented young hockey players by adding a Junior Hockey program starting with the 2004-2005 season. The organization is committed to preparing hockey players at all levels to be the best they can be, on and off the ice.
Mission Statement: To return the MM Pee Wee level to its tradition of success through continued player development, enhanced team play, and a commitment to our positive team image.Our team will be playing in the Atlantic Youth Hockey League (AYHL) at the Pee Wee Major Level for the 2007-2008 Season.
We are committed:
1.) The VFMM 95s are re-establishing our commitment to a competitive, successful, and disciplined ice hockey team for the 2007/08 season.
2.) Our long-range plan is to compete at a championship level while continuing to develop skills and game intelligence.
2007-2008 Tryouts:
Tuesday April 17 6:15 pm - 7:30 pm
Thursday April 19th 6:15 pm - 7:30 pm
Saturday April 21st 5:45 pm - 7:00
Welcome the new 95 Minutemen Coach John Turner...John's personal hockey career includes:
4 years Varsity at St John's Prep in Mass.
Induction into St John's prep's Hall of Fame
4 years Div-1 at Merrmack College.
John has been coaching youth hockey for many years, mostly with the Reading Jr Royals. His accomplishments consists of:
Level 4 Coaches Certification
2 X DVHL Play-offs Pee Wee
2 X District Play-offs Pee Wee & Bantam
1 District Championship Bantam AA
and 1 appearance at Tier II Nationals Bantam AA
