As many of you have heard or read over the past few days, the International Olympic Committee has voted to remove both softball and baseball from the 2012 Olympic Games.

Congratulations to the 11-12 Vernon Baseball All Stars on winning the 2005 District 8 crown.
I was fortunate to have seen three of your games (both as a parent on the "other side" and umpire) and saw your team as the best in the District this season. Good luck in Sectional play, and maybe we will see you back in Manchester for the State Championships! |
