Welcome to the Venice Florida Little League!

Spring 2010 Season!  Opening Day for Spring 2010 will be on Saturday Feb 27th. Registration will open on Saturday Nov 14th (last day of Fall Ball) at Chuck Reiter Field, from 9 AM to 1 PM. Cost is only $100 if you register on the 14th (a $20 savings) We will also have registration dates on Saturday Dec 12th & Saturday Jan 9th. Mail-In registration will also be available starting Nov 14th. Please be sure to bring a copy of Birth Cert & Utility Bill.

Managers Needed for Spring Season- We need Managers in the Minors & Rookies Divisions for Spring 2010. Please pick up an application at the concession stand.

Lost & Found: We have added an area where we can post lost & found items. See "My Site News" for details

Bees & Ants: The County is aware of the bees and ants that have been plagueing Chuck Reiter fields. They have taken appropriate action and we should see results within 2 weeks. If you continue to see a problem please email us at info@venicelittleleague.com with the field number and location of the problem and we will forward that to the County.

Board of Directors Election:  Thanks to those who have volunteered their time and joined our Board. Alot goes on "behind the scenes" in making our League run smoothly. We thank all parents for graciously serving their time in the concession stand!

Used Baseball Equipment Needed- Rich Carroll, director of the local Challenger Baseball Program for handicapped youth, has requested donations of used baseball equipment for  youth in Costa Rica. Any unwanted items can be dropped off at the concession stand at Chuck Reiter Field.

Volunteers Needed! Our League is run by people volunteering their time for the benefit of our area youth.  Occasionally we have facility improvement projects (ie: repairing the scoreboards, painting, etc) and would welcome any additional assistance.  If you would like to volunteer for other service please send an email to info@venicelittleleague.com and we can contact you as needs arise.

Sponsors Needed! Our League is completely funded by our Player Registration Fees (which we try to keep affordable) and the generosity of our Sponsors and Advertisers. We receive no funding from the City or County. We pay our own electric bill (for field lighting, etc) and now the County has imposed "Field Usage Fees"  which have added thousands of dollars to our expenses. If you would like to Sponsor or Advertise your business on a 4' X 4' Field Sign attached to a field fence visible to spectators, please click on the "Forms" link to the left or email us at info@venicelittleleague.com
