We need your help!

Valley De Oro Little League invites everyone to come down and help with the annual cutting, thatching, aerating, seeding and fertilizing of our Majors Field.  And, there are many other projects that we need to start (see the "VDOLL News" section) in order to be fully prepared for the fun and excitement of our 2010 season.  So, come join us on any of these days to help get our VDOLL fields in top-notch condition!

*Just some background on our VDOLL fields... Valley De Oro Little League players have been fortunate to be able to play on well-groomed and well-maintained baseball fields.  As you can imagine, these fields don't get this way by accident.  It happens through the hard work of coaches, parents, and volunteers such as yourselves who dedicate their time and energy into making the VDOLL fields a place that we can be proud of.  But, there is always work to be done.  Valley De Oro Little League is one of the very few Little Leagues in the East County to totally maintain their baseball fields on their own.  Contrary to what some may believe, our fields are not maintained by Monte Vista High School, the Grossmont Union High School District, or San Diego County and are not part of a city or county park as many other leagues are.  So, this makes your volunteer help very important to VDOLL!
