June 1st, Friday - We need VOLUNTEERS for Field Clean UP!  There will be baseball played that night so come down, watch some ball, and help to get our fields ready for play offs!

Play Offs begin June 4th - Monday

AllStars:  Voting is going on this week.  Announcements will be the evening/early morning of Closing Day - June 16th.  The kids chosen will have a star hung above their door in the middle of the night, Sunday morning, June 17th.

Closing Day Ceremonies:  Saturday, June 16th

  • Game Truck will be available for 15-25 minutes of fun (each paid ticket)

  • Board Member Election - Don't forget to vote!

Please join VDOLL in their 4th annual softball tournament. This is a great opportunity for Parents, Legal Guardians, Coaches, Board Members & League Volunteers) to come out and support our league.  

Date: Sunday June 3rd, 2012
Time: All Day
Location: VDOLL Fields
Deadline to Register: Thursday May 31st @ 5:00p.m.
Special Events: Homerun Derby 

General Rules:`       

  • Entrants must be either a (Parent, Legal Guardian, Coach, Board Member or a League Volunteer.`       
  • There’s a Minimum of (9) players per team & a Max. of (12).`       
  • Entry Fee is $100 per team.`       
  •  Each team must have a minimum of (3) women per team and must field all (3) women on the field at all times. (2) women must be in the infield at all times. Catcher counts as a infield position 

The Snack Bar will be open so please support the league by enjoying some VDO food. You must submit your team name along with your team roster to Sal Mata via email @SanDiegoEliteBaseBall@Yahoo.com no later then May 31st @ 5pm

Board Member Election Process

The annual election for the 2011-2012 Valley De Oro Board of Directors will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012, 11am to 1:00pm.

The election and Annual Year End Parent Meeting announcing the 2012-2013  Board of Director’s will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 (Closing Day) at the Major’s Field immediately following the end of the last game.

Please make sure to put your vote in at the Snack Bar between 11 and 1 on Saturday after Closing Day Ceremonies.  Remember:  Your Vote counts!!!

No absentee ballots accepted; Parent Members must be in attendance to vote; ONLY Parent Members are allowed to vote.  Each Parent Member gets one vote.

Little Field of Dreams Fundraiser - May 12, 2012

Thank-You to all the dedicated parents who participated in the Tball Street Taco Fundraiser!

A special Thanks goes out to Dylan Chiu for organizing this special event and working to make the Tball field a great place to play ball!

The event was successful and we want to express our Thanks to Dylan & Janelle Chiu, Linda & Marco Diaz De Leon and Marcus Gallindo for their support & services to the future ball players at VDO!

One more shout out...to Mirian & Ryan Phillippi and a Big Thanks!

All proceeds will go to the completion of the "The Little Field of Dreams".
