Manager - Overall team management including keeping parents and players informed of all activities, scheduling practices, etc.
Coach - Works directly with players to teach baseball skills
Assistant Coach - works with Coach
Scorekeeper - Keep score at games (minor level and above)
Statistician - Keep player stats. This can be as simple as keeping track of how many home runs each player hits or as complex as figuring and updating batting averages, rbi, etc.
Reporter - Report scores to the League, update team web site, and write an occaisional article for the newspaper.
Volunteer Positions - League Level
Umpire - Official in charge at each game at the minor and major levels. Training required.
Fundraising - Work on a committee to strategize fundraising activities, including seeking commercial sponsors for VCLL activities
Field Preparation - Help get the fields ready for games
Snack Bar/Concessions - Sell snacks at games
