2009 Registration now open!

2009 Registration for Spring/Summer is closed. Fall ball registration is to be done by email. See below.

BANTAM FALL BALL

Vancouver Community Baseball and the Vancouver Mounties are putting together a Fall Ball team. Fall Ball is geared toward players who are interested in playing either Bantam AAA and AA next season (2010). Depending upon the number of interested players and availability of coaches a second team of players new to the bantam level may be formed for the fall ball season.

Final selection for the team(s) will be based on available number of players and determined after the practices to be held at Hillcrest Park Bantam diamond on September 8th (5:30 pm), 9th (6 pm), and 10th (6 pm) with games to begin September 12. There is no fall ball league but there will be exhibition games and tournaments. Depending upon the weather a minimum of 12 games will be planned.

Cost will be $120 per player. Please make the cheque out to "Vancouver Community Baseball" and bring it to the first practice.

Vancouver Community Baseball offers organized baseball for youths aged 13 to 18 living in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. From recreational house leagues to elite teams and training, VCB considers all of its programs of equal importance. We emphasize player participation and skills improvement at all levels. In turn, we expect fair play and good sportsmanship from all participants at all times.

VCB
is divided into two divisions:

Bantam (players aged 13 to 15) divided into:

  • "A" which is house league
  • "AA" which is more competitive
  • "AAA" which is the highest competitive level

Midget (players aged 16 to 18) divided into:

  • "AA" which is house league
  • "AAA" which is the highest competitive level

All Bantam A and Midget AA (house league) games are played in Vancouver; Bantam AA, Bantam AAA and Midget AAA games are played throughout the Lower Mainland and beyond.

Tryouts take place for Bantam AA, Bantam AAA and Midget AAA. Assessments are done for house league play to ensure balanced teams. All players must attend at least one assessment. See below for times.
