VBC OCCOQUAN: College Showcase

Saturday, October 15th, 2011 at Cora Kelley Field at Four-Mile Run Park in Alexandria, VA.

Players are provided an opportunity to showcase their talents to Major League Baseball and college scouts. College coaches from Division I, II, III, NAIA, and Junior Colleges will be in attendance. We are looking for players who will be graduating in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015.

Showcase Day Activities: Workout will begin at 10:15am with an introduction to the day’s activities. Players will run a 60-yard dash, take ground balls and fly balls at their positions, take batting practice, and pitchers will throw a bullpen.

Costs: The cost of this showcase is $175 before September 1. For $375, players will receive the workout, t-shirt, and a recruiting video which they can use to send out to college coaches around the country.

Are you a high school player looking to play college baseball? If so, the VBC is here to help. The VBC is making recruiting videos for players looking to get to the next level. We offer two levels of video production and distribution:  

VBC Skillview Plus Package-$395

TheVBC Skillview Plus Package offers a more advanced program for creating comprehesnive and professional college resumes. With this package, players have the option of taking both their video and personal information and compiling it into a personalized web-page. This allows the player to make a quality first-impression on coaches, and allows the player greater control over the presentation of their video.

The cost for the VBC Skillview College Resume Plus is $395.00. Included in the fee are two drafts of the personalized web-page, the link for the website, and the filming sessions. Players can be filmed in these categories: - Catching - Hitting - Infield - Outfield - Pitching. The player picks two categories from the list above to be filmed. Each additional category is $45. If selecting pitching, please bring a catcher in full gear.

VBC College Video Basic Package- $245

With our VBC College Video Basic Package we will film your player hitting, pitching, fielding, and catching. Video will be edited and uploaded to our recruiting website for viewing by coaches around the US. The link can then be sent directly to the college coaches or via CD copy.

The video will come with your son’s personal stats, bio, and grades attached for the coaches to get a better idea of who your son is off the field. The cost for the VBC College Video is $245.00 (please compare to other recruiting sites!). Included in the fee is the CD, the link for the website, and the filming sessions. Players can be filmed in these categories: - Catching - Hitting - Infield - Outfield - Pitching. The player picks two categories from the list above to be filmed. Each additional category is $45.
