The VBA 10's ended thier season with a 53-20-1 record. Taking home 5 tournament championships and completeing the season at the USSSA World Series in Southaven in 3rd place.

The VBA 10's returned from 8 days in Southaven, MS at the USSSA 10Y/O World Series. 72 teams from across the nation were on hand for the action packed week. The Viper Academy team was 6th seed in the tournament and the other teams were quickly aware of our abilities when we completed pool play with a 3-0 record defeating the Clarksville (TN) Orioles, Wild Thing Red (PA), Lebanon (OH) Kings. The VBA 10's then proceeded to send the Calcasieu (LA) Gators, Effingham (GA) Young Guns, & Mandeville (LA) Muckbogs to the losers bracket.The Academy team ran up on a tough Saddleback (CA) Coyotes and lost thier first bracket game but returned to defeat Saddleback to advance to the round of four. The New Lennox (IL) Rebels defeated the Academy and send them into a playoff game with the Wild Thing (PA) Black for 3rd or 4th place. Wild Thing forfieted the game to give the VBA 10's 3rd place. The VBA 10's were 8-2 on the week!
