Valley Mesa Girls Fastpitch is a girls youth softball league dedicated to the growth and development of young ladies, ages 4 1/2 to 14 across La Mesa, Spring Valley, and the surrounding areas.  Our program teaches young girls how to work as part of team while having a great time learning the sport of softball.  They develop self esteem and self confidence while developing life long friendships through softball.

Here are the 2009 All Star Tournaments we will be participating in:

May 15th - 17th:  East County Corky Russell Classic

May 22nd - 25th: Clairemont Memorial Day Classic

May 29th - 31st:  To be determined (10U to play in San Marcos)

June 5th - 7th: Santee Bring on the Heat

June 11th - 14th:  UC Del Sol Tournament Del Sol

June 19th - 21st: District C Championships

More details to come such as game schedules, etc.

In an amazing day, our 10U team worked their way from being seeded 9th going into bracket play all the way to the championship game.  They played 4 games on Sunday at 8 am, 11:30 am, 1:15 pm, and the championship game at 3 pm!  They lost in the championship game against a great team.  We are proud of girls for fighting so hard all day!  Congratulations!
