On Spotsylvania County Little League Opening Day one of their Managers, John Cheesbrew, was awarded for his outstanding efforts with his regular season team and all star team for 2011. John's made a promise to his players that he would get every player equal playing time for all his players, that was his goal and he was successful, not only during regualr season, but his all star team as well. John was chosen by the Positive Coaching Alliance as one of Twenty coaches from across America to be honored with this award, Double-Goal Coach Award, Sponsored by Liberty Mutual Insurance. A big Congratulations to John Cheesbrew of Spostylvania County Little League.

VIRGINIA DISTRICT 15 CHALLENGES ALL OF THE SAFETY OFFICERS TO COMPLETING THEIR SAFETY PLAN, SO THEIR PLAYERS CAN PARTICIPATE IN A SAFER PLAYING ENVIROMENT. REMEMBER OUR GOAL IS 100 % PARTICIPATION. LET'S NOT BE THE ONLY DISTRICT IN THE STATE WITHOUT 100 % PARTICIPATION.
