The UYIFL is excited to bring FULL CONTACT youth football indoors for our 3rd exciting season! The UYIFL will once again bring our youth inside for our Spring 2010 season to further develop and enhance their outdoor football skills! To keep it consistent for the players, we play 11 on 11 and same rules as outdoors (with a few minor adjustments for field size)!!

Our games will be played at the Spence Eccles Fieldhouse (UofU indoor practice facility) at 650 So. Guardsman Way (1580 E). 

***Please note that if your team is north of Salt Lake City, practices will still be in your neighborhood. Travel to Salt Lake City will only be for games on Saturday.

Online registration begins Sept. 26, 2009. Registration fee is $220 thru Dec. 31, 2009, and is $240 beginning Jan. 1, 2010. There will be a $50 discount if you have proof of fee waiver eligibility through your school district. This discount is not available online, you must attend an in-person registration with documentation. Check out the home page for more details on times and locations.

When registering online PLEASE:

1. Make sure all information is complete and correct. Email addresses and phone numbers make communication so much easier!
2. If your child is playing or wishes to play for a specific coach in the UYIFL, please enter the coaches name in the appropriate box. While we will do our best to place your child on that team, we cannot guarantee placement once the team is full. All others leave blank and your coach will contact you as soon as teams are organized.
3. The registration page asks for your agreement with the waiver. Please read the waiver in its entirety. In addition, once registration is completed, there is a button for a printable version of the waiver.  You must print, fill in all information, and sign the waiver for our records. (It is recommended you print one for your own records). You may also come to an in-person registration to fill out and sign the waiver. Please mail signed waiver to:

NO CHILD WILL BE ALLOWED TO PLAY WITHOUT PARENTAL APPROVAL AND SIGNED WAIVER!

There will be a $40.00 fee for all returned checks which must be paid in full in order for your child to play.

THE FIRST IN-PERSON PLAYER AND COACH REGISTRATION WILL BE HELD ON DEC. 19TH 2009 FROM 12:00 NOON TO 4 PM AT THE SALT LAKE COUNTY SPORTS COMPLEX RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE SPENCE ECCLES FIELDHOUSE WHERE WE WILL BE PLAYING OUR GAMES.

COME SIGN UP AND MEET OUR REGIONAL REPS, AND NEW LEAGUE PRESIDENT MR CURRAN. ALL OUR COACHES AND NEW PERSPECTIVE COACHES FOR THIS YEAR WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL WITH MORE INFO. ON THURSDAY 12-3-2009.

We are getting new equipment for 2010 for our players! Helmets, shoulder pads, and pants and pant pads! We have increased registration fees to assist in covering this enormous cost, however:

IF YOU PRE-REGISTER BY DECEMBER 31, 2009, YOU CAN STILL GET THE 2009 PRICE OF $220! (There is a small fee when registering online as well, but it is so easy!). Beginning January 1, 2010 registration will be $240 per player.

The 2010 UYIFL kick-off will be March 13, 2010 at the Spence Eccles Field House (UofU indoor practice facility)! Championship games will be May 15!

Our mission in the UTAH YOUTH INDOOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE, INC.  is to allow youth an opportunity to participate in the game of football on an indoor field, teaching them the fundamentals of the game and further developing their skills with an emphasis on sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, respect and interaction with youth their age while being coached/mentored by adults who emulate these standards. Every youth who has the wish and desire to play, regardless of experience, skill or ethnicity, will be afforded that opportunity in the UYIFL.  

The UYIFL recognizes that the youth of today are the future leaders of our country and world, and they will build strength, success, and confidence while participating in our league in order to reach their great potential. Winning does not make a winner, and losing does not make a loser...its how you play the game, on and off the field!

One of our goals at the UYIFL is to allow the opportunity for all youth to play football, yet many hard working families aren't able to afford the cost for their kids.

We will provide fundraising opportunities for those who wish to supplement their fees, and a discount to those with proof of school fee waiver eligibility. Discounts will not be given online, registration needs to be in person.

We are always looking for sponsors and/or donations to assist us in many areas. Your name and/or company name will be listed on our front page and Sponsor link. Other sponsorship packages are available.  We are a non-profit organization, donations may be tax deductible.
