It's Here!!

Well guys its finally here! As i post this message, Head Coach Dave Harrison, and General Manager Kenny Roberson are headed to Idaho to attend the annual "Kick off" meeting. What needs to happen at the meeting is for us to get voted in by the league. As soon as that happens we will get things officially going.

Though Kenny and Coach Dave will be in Idaho we are still going to get together Saturday Jan. 30, 2010 at Alta to run through some things at 2:30 pm. At this point everything is looking really positive and we are excited for the upcoming season. We are only two months away from our first game and the beginning to our first season as a team. Lets now start preparing and understanding the task ahead. We appreciate everyone getting their team fees in, not only does it help us to get ourselves into the league but it also shows your dedication to our team as induviduals.

Thanks again guys, we also have our jerseys for the 2010 season in, here is a sneak peek!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION plus (The Beast)

hey guys,

the season is approaching much faster than any of us anticipated, this saturday will be the last practice of january and then the league meeting is the weekend of the 29th and 30th for our owners Kenny Roberson and Dave Harrison.

As a team we need to remember that we must have our player fees in on Saturday at practice. I will also have the sponsorship flyers ready to go out. there is going to be snow on the field this week, the more guys that bring shovels the easier it will be on all of us to clear the snow and finish off January the right way.

The season begins in the first week of April, that is less then three months away. Lets go at it hard and make this the season we know we all desire!!

 Go IRISH!!

p.s. here is a picture of "The Beast" aka Kenny Roberson, showing off his muscles!

Saturday's Practice (01/02/2010)

image_name2

Hey Irish,

The weather for the rest of this week looks like it is going to continue to snow, and saturday if we can get the snow to subside for a few hours we still plan on having practice. Yes, the field will most likely be covered with inches of snow but with snow shovels we can take care of that problem easily. So, if you have a shovel please bring it with you. We will most likely be plowing the field ourselves.

Also, the final jersey design has been completed. We will have gold helmets with grey fasemasks, the jerseys with be dark green/gold numbers and white/green numbers with irish printed on the chest. We will also have two pairs of game pants, green and gold. If you already have a helmet and planned on painting it, remember it is a "vegas gold" helmet with a grey facemask.

We have four months until our first game so be prepared to work hard through the rough weather because it will pay off when we are playing on saturday afternoons in April and May! Thanks again guys, see you Saturday.

Go Irish!!!

*The Grind*

Hey guys,

The season is coming up fast, we begin our 2010 practices this saturday! remember that before the end of January the player fee of $125 is due to the league. Our team owner, Kenny Roberson and Head Coach, Dave Harrison will be attending the league kick-off meeting in idaho and we need to have our player fees to them in time to get voted into the league.

At practice Saturday, january 2, 2010 a sponsorship brochure will be passed out and each player needs to do their part in helping to find sponsors for our team to help reduce each persons costs. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Its a pain to have to take care of these things now but i promise it will pay off when we're on the field smacking heads, and scoring touchdowns. We're excited to see all of you on saturday at 1pm at Alta high school!

 GO IRISH!!!!
