Deadly beat Usual Suspects at the Suspects Blitz 2008
Well it had to happen, in a closely fought game the Deadly Suspects stepped up and beat the Usual Suspects during the 2008 Suspects Blitz.
Odd-Sox won for the second year running in another action packed Blitz. As ever jelly shots were plentiful as was Vodka infused water melon and an evil concoction called Skittle-Brew.

1st Round of Brian Walshe Cup
The first round of the 2008 Cup (renamed to the Brian Walshe Cup) has been drawn, with a new open draw format.
The Usual Suspects (Div 1) have been pitched against the Dublin Bay Packers (Div 2) who they have met only once before in cup competition back in 1999 with The Usual Suspects winning 14 - 11 that time.
The Deadly Suspects (Div 3) have drawn Kiely's Kegs (Div 2), their last meeting was in 2005, but this was a W/O win for Deadly, so this is a new meeting for them.

Well we are about 2 thirds through the 2007 and the Usual Suspects have had mixed performance to date, falling from the heights of a 6 game winning streak to a 3 game loosing one.

Yes Folks, June 16th is the big day for the 9th annual Usual Suspects Blitz. Ten teams will be invited to join us on what always is an exciting and sometimes puzzling day with the Suspects. Jelly Shots for breakfast anyone.

Welcome to the 2007 Softball Season
The Usual Suspects welcome you to a new year of softball.
Yes a new year is upon us and it is time we dug out the old softball uniforms and started stretching those aching limbs.
What better way to clear those cobwebs than a great game of softball, the preparation for a new season is in full swing for both teams. The season is due to kick off in April. Full details of the schedules and stuff can be found at Irish Softball Association
We are currently actively recruiting new players to the Usual Suspects club, both for the Usual Suspects and the Deadly Suspects teams. Anyone who is interested in joining should contact email our team captain (& El Presidento di Irish Softball Association)

The Usual Suspects support a revitalised ISA Council
The usual suspects are proud to lend their support to Alacoque and her colleagues in their bid to revitalise the sport of Softball in Ireland.
Anyone who knows Alacoque knows of her organisational ability and dedication to softball, with her extensive involvment in the ISA Council over the years and her successful fundraising campaigns for the National squad, not to mention the running of a rowdy bunch of reprobates that make up the 2 suspect teams.
The proposed members of the ISA council are as follows and have a combined 46 years softballing experience:
