USJ's Dement Joins Union in Baseball

Jackson Sun - University School of Jackson student Will Dement won't have to travel far for his next athletic endeavor, signing on Tuesday (5-16-06) with Union University baseball.

A member of last year's Class A State Championship Team, the 6-foot-1, 190-pound outfielder and Bruins will compete for the Region 7-AA title today at Covington.

Dement - who played wide receiver, strong safety and punter for the Bruins in football - was also a member of the 2003 Class A STate Runner-up USJ team.
