13th Annual USBC Semi-Pro World Series in 2008!
2008 USBC World Series will be hosted in Fort Wayne, Indiana with the first game starting on July 4th and playing throughout the weekend. This tournament will guarantee 3 games and is open to the first 8 teams with the final game on Sunday. All teams will play one game in Wizard's Stadium, home of the San Diego Class "A" Affiliate. The USBC is now part of the National American Semi-Pro Baseball Association. All NASPBA AFFILIATED TEAMS are eligible to participate in the USBC Semi-Pro World Series. The USBC World Series is an open World Series and played over the July 4th week-end each year in order to give teams from the Big "4" (AABC Stan Musial) (NBC National Baseball Congress) (NABF Major Division) and the (NASPBA National American Semi-Pro Baseball Association) the chance to compete against each other for one of the most prestigious Semi-Pro World Series Titles in the USA. It also allows teams from the Big "4" to keep on pace for their quest to win the 4 Major National Semi-Pro World Series Titles at the end of the summer
