Hi everyone!

Well we will be wrapping up the hockey season soon. This week is the last game for our JV team and unfortunately do not qualify for the playoffs. Varsity only has practice this week and then play offs the following week. Please see below for further schedules.

Schedule for the week of February 13:

Monday, February 13 - Practice for all players at 6:40 p.m. - 7:40 p.m. at Wintersport.

     • Club Meeting at Wintersport at 6:45 p.m. Please plan on attending.

Wednesday, February 15 - Practice for all players at 7:10 - 8:10 p.m. at Wintersport.

Thursday, February 16 – JV GAME – North Penn vs. Upper Moreland JV at Hatfield Ice at 8:30 p.m. We need a volunteer for the score/time box.

Next week:

Monday, February 20 - Practice for all players playing in the Varsity Championship game at 6:40 p.m. - 7:40 p.m. at Wintersport.

Wednesday, February 22 - Practice for all players playing in the Varsity Championship game at 7:10 p.m. - 8:10 p.m. at Wintersport.

Thursday, February 23 – Championship Playoff’s – Lansdale Catholic vs. Upper Moreland Varsity at 7:20 p.m. at Hatfield Ice Arena.

Recap of Last Week:

• Upper Moreland Varsity played North Penn and lost with a score of 9-3. Thank you to Mr. Barber for volunteering in the box.

• Upper Moreland JV played Father Judge and lost with a score of 11-2. Thank you to Mr. Fritze for volunteering in the box.

Mark your calendars:

• Banquet – the banquet has been confirmed for April 1, 2012 and will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Giant again this year. The cost will be $15/person but no cost for the coaches and players. Thank you to Sue Goold for heading this up. We will be asking for donations of door prizes and will create a letter and list of local businesses that we can solicit from for the next meeting.

• The coaches have asked again that if any player is missing a game or practice – the player must contact the coaches via a phone call or text. Please encourage the players to be responsible. All phone numbers and email addresses can be found at the bottom of this page.
