Mountaineers Lose a Close One to Pirates, Go to 4-2
The Mountaineers opened up "Player Pitch" with a loss to the Pirates. "The pirates came out and played well. They had some good pitching that we struggled to hit. I see our loss to be the result of coaching error. I am learning a pitch rotation which I am sure will shape up. I left Brandon on the mound too long. I wanted to see him work his way through a tough inning. I think he grew some as a pitcher in there", said Coach Jeffries in a statement today.

Mountaineers lose 13-1 to Pirates, go to 5-3
The Mountaineers had better tighten up the pitching rotation against the Pirates. "They have run off with the hitting pace now that player pitch has started. We have to catch up with them again in the hitting department. Their pitching is really good too so they are playing a really good game right now. Practice is the word for the month of May", said coach Jeffries in a statement today.
