UPG SPORTS hosts highly competitive GIRLS basketball tournaments in Orange County, California. It is our goal to provide the most competive, organized tournaments possible for girls youth, high school and club teams. Our tournament sites are within minutes of Newport Beach and 20 minutes of Disneyland. See below for a complete list of all of the 2010 events. Be sure to register early to ensure your team a spot. Deadlines are enforced to allow schedules to be available as soon as possible. Out of town teams: Please check our approved hotel list for discounted rates at quality hotels close to gym sites.

Super Bowl Shootout: February 6th only

1st annual event featuring divisions for 5th/10U, 6th/11U, 7th/12U, 8th/13U. 2 games guaranteed. Match up and play-No trophies, just games to prepare for the upcoming tournament season. Divisions will be limited to 8 teams.

Early entry fee: $150 before January 15th.

Late Entry Fee: $200 after January 15th. 

Final Deadline: January 25th. 

Big Orange Classic:  April 10-11

17th Annual tournament featuring divisions for 6th/11U, 7th/12U, 8th/13U, JV/15U, and 17U/Varsity. This is a 3 game guarantee.

Early Entry: $300 if paid before March 21st.

Late Entry fee: $350 per team after March 21st.

Final deadline is March 31st. 

UPG Memorial Weekend Classic: May 29-31st.   

14th Annual tournament, last year we had over 90 teams from 4 states participating in divisions for 5th/10U, 6th/11U, 7th/12U, 8th/13U, JV/15U, and 17U/Varsity. This is a 4 game guarantee tournament with games being played until 3:00 pm on Monday, May 31st.

Some of the teams/programs that attend annually; Cal Swish, Irvine Sol, AZ Elite, AZ Thunder, AZ Silverstreaks, NJB, OC Rythm, OC Elite, Sacramento Sting, Salt Lake Metro, Bakersfield Heat, Team Concept, Ventura County Elite, Az Hype, Nor Cal Elite, Huntington Beach Waves.

Early Entry Fee: $350 per team before May 1st.

Late Entry Fee: $400 if paid after May 1st.

Final deadline is May 15th

Independence Day Shootout:  July 3rd 

1st annual event featuring divisions for 6th/11U, 7th/12U, 8th/13U, JV/15U, and 17U/Varsity teams.2 games guaranteed. Match up and play-No trophies, just games to prepare for the upcoming tournament season. Divisions will be limited to 8 teams.

Early entry fee: $150 before June 12th.

Late Entry Fee: $200 after June 12th. 

Final Deadline: June 22nd. 

Swish Shootout NCAA Certified : July 10-12th  presented by UPG Sports

This year we are again working together with Cal Swish to host the 12th Annual Sanctioned College Viewing tournament with divisions for 15U and 17U. 4 game guarantee. This event is well attended by college coaches, with over 50 different colleges in attendance last year.

Some of last years teams were: Cal Swish, Nor Cal Elite, West Coast Premier, ODGL, San Diego Sol, Swoosh, AZ Rebels, Redondo Union, AZ Swish, FBC-Orange County. 

Early Entry Fee: $600 if paid by June 12th.

Late Entry Fee: $650 if paid after June 12th. 

Final deadline: June 25th.

Summer Hoops 2010: July 10-11th

18th Annual tournament for High school teams competing in Frosh/soph, JV, and Varsity Division. 4 game guarantee for this event. 

The winning Varsity team earns FREE entry into the 2010 tournament. Last years Champion University HS.

Early Entry Fee: $325 before June 15th.

Late Entry Fee: $375 after June 15th.

Final deadline to register: June 25th.

Tip Off Classic: October 23-24th.

15th annual tournament featuring divisions for 5th/10U, 6th/11U, 7th/12U, 8th/13U, JV/15U, and 17U/Varsity. 3 game guarantee.

Early Entry Fee: $325 before October 1st..

Late Entry Fee: $375 after October 1st..

Final Entry Deadline: October 13th.
