What is the camp refund policy?


Individual Camp - There will be a $25.00 administration / processing fee for cancellations within two weeks before the beginning of camp.


Fundamental Camp - There will be a $100.00 administration / processing fee for cancellations within two weeks before the beginning of camp.


Team Camp - There is a $100.00 nonrefundable deposit to hold a team's spot for team camp.


Situations may be handled on an individual basis.

What forms are required in order for my child to participate?


All campers MUST have a Medical Release form on file before they will be able to participate in any JB Hoop Camp. This will be a part of the registration process and can be checked off during online registration. If for some reason this is not completed during the registration process click here to download the Medical Release form.

What items should my child bring to camp?


Information regarding items to bring to camp, check in procedures, parking arrangements, etc. will be addressed in your registration confirmation email.

How do I get to camp? (Driving directions)


Exit I-10 (Note: please see below) going east to Campbell Avenue. South on Campbell Avenue past Speedway and turn right on Enke Drive (watch for the diving pool on the right). McKale Center is on the right side. Parking arrangements will be forwarded to you upon receipt of your registration. Click here for a campus map.



Note to Arizona I-10 Travelers: Corridor Construction


Attention: All Interstate 10 on-ramps and off-ramps through Tucson, AZ, between Prince Road and 29th Street, will be closed from Summer, 2007, through Spring, 2010 for highway widening. Through traffic on I-10 will remain open, as will access to businesses and residences. MapQuest is working with the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) to ensure accurate driving directions in the affected area, but you may wish to verify your route on ADOT’s I-10 project website. For your safety, always obey local construction and detour signs.

What meals are provided?


Individual Day Camp - There are no meals provided during Individual Day Camp. There will be snack breaks and we suggest you send snacks and water with your camper.



Fundamental Camp - Overnight campers receive breakfast, lunch and dinner. Commuter campers receive lunch and dinner.   All meals are eaten at the UA Student Union.




There is a Camp Store with Gatorade, water, snacks and camp athletic apparel during all camps. Campers will be able to deposit money in our Camp Bank at registration.

Is there a medical staff at camp?


There will be certified Athletic Trainers on staff at all times at all camps. There will be camp staff members supervising at all meals, dorms and camp facilities.
