Unity Baseball Club 12u team won their third championship in a row when they took home first place in the Ventura Pirates Turkey Tourney.
Their first game was a heartbreaker when they lost 8-7 to the El Rio Bombers. They had hits by Justin McMurrey, Justin Barron, Josh Stockton, Gabriel Diaz, Mike Ellis and Ryan Salazar.
In their 2nd game they faced the Ventura Orioles and had a big win 11-4, again with big hits by, Barron, Stockton, Ian Eaton, Diaz, Ellis, Salazar, and home runs by McMurrey and Shayne Distl.
In the semi-final game Unity again faced the Orioles and came up with a 13-8 win. Behind stellar pitching by Eaton, Barron and Stockton Unity had key hits by McMurrey, Barron, Stockton, Distl, Eaton, Diaz, Ellis, Ryan Montelongo and Angel Godinez. That win brought Unity to the Championship game to face the Bombers for a rematch, and Unity took home the trophy with a 9-2 victory. McMurrey and Stockton were on the mound to get the win and had big hitters with McMurrey, Barron, Distl, Godinez and a crushing home run by Eaton.

UNITY 9u FALL 2006 SIMI VALLEY CAL RIPKEN CHAMPIONS
Unity baseball Club has formed two teams. A 9u division and a 12u division. Both teams won their respective fall leagues.
