Road to the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP National Football Events operates the United States Football Association for the purpose of running regional post season tournaments that culminate with the USFA National Championship. In order to win this title a team must play other championship/top quality teams on the field. Semi-pro teams do not have the money to travel around the country to play all of the top teams so the USFA offers regional tournaments and invites the league champs and highest quality teams to enter them. In a perfect world, each of these regional tournaments would be made up only of league champions who battle for the regional crown, however, this is semi-pro football and many teams decline the opportunity to play other top teams beyond their league playoffs. The USFA has been in operation for over 20 years, matching regional champions to determine the best of the best. The USFA champion truly earns the title by proving it on the field. For the past several years the USFA title game has taken place at National Bowl Weekend in January in Florida. As National Football Events does every season, we would like to remind all of the top teams in the country that want to win a true National Championship, to start your season with the following points in mind:
- Communicate with National Football Events regularly, via NFE Coach’s Poll or email.
- Plan to accept an invitation to a USFA Regional Tournament as soon as your team is invited.
- Commit to the tournament and your opportunity to play the best in your region with the shot at winning the USFA National Title.
