UTKLL will celebrate the 2009 season with its 51st year of continuous service to the youth of the Central Michigan area. We are also celebrating our 30th year of affiliation with Little League Baseball, Inc. This Web site will be updated continually during the year so you can keep up with what's going on.  Our league is made up of three divisions: Farm, National and American. Visit the Divisions section for more information. Should you have questions on anything, please contact one of the board members that are listed in the UTKLL Board section.

Minors & Majors win District #1 titles

On Thursday July 16th, our Minor BB team defeated Clare L.L. 6-5 to claim the District #1 title.  They will now advance to Cheboygan for State Tournament play beginning Friday July 24th.  First game is at 3:30pm vs the District 16 winner.  Sat. July 25th they play at 8:00am vs District #8 winner and Sundays game is at 12:30pm vs District #7. 

On Sunday July 19th our Major BB team defeated Fraternal/Northwest L.L. 3-0 to claim the District #1 title.  They now advance to Jacksons Cascade Park for State tournament play beginning Saturday at 10:00am vs the District #5 winner.  Sundays game is at 4:00pm vs District #14 and Monday they play District #15 at 12:00nn.

This is the first time our league has won two of the District titles in the same year.  I could not be more proud of both teams.  Well done boys, well done.  Jim
