Phelan Pitches A SECOND Perfect Game This Season
Once again Fran Phelan of the UCLL Pirates spun a perfect game. The 17 strikeout 6 inning effort was yet another dominating performance for the 6th grader. The Friday Evening Game against the talented Indians of the Peter J. Foley League featured only one ball being put into play. 17 of the 19 outs came by way of the K. A proud Coach Sergio said, "It was like winning the World Series!"
Fran has had an incredible season thus far. Try and make an effort to see him pitch this season. He is truly a gifted athlete.

Phelan Tosses a Perfect Game!!!!
Francis Phalen, pitcher for the Union City Pirates achieved one of the rarest of achievements one can in baseball. He pitched a perfect game! Phalen retired all 18 batters he faced 13 of those outs were strikeouts!! Phalen was supported by his team mates with outstanding defense and hitting as they went on to win 6-0 against the defending UCLL Champion Yankees.
