What's up Next!

Thanks again for a great close to PP2. All games were complete within a couple hours of the deadline and the accuracy of the results submitted was very high. The attached are subject to minor revision – three series may have been played with incorrect 25-man rosters. I’ll let you know if revisions are necessary of if the results can stand as-is.

Looking ahead to PP3, the trading deadline is this Sat. Aug 21 at 9 p.m. Pacific time. You are invited to submit your PP3 computer manager and rotation before then if you don’t expect to make any moves. Recall that the 25-man roster limit is waived in PP3 and you may have as many players eligible as you like, but you are not required to make everyone eligible. If you don’t want HAL to use a player, keep him in the minors. Also, please review your usage situation carefully and put any borderline players in the minors to avoid overuse.

As for the playoff races -

Division 1 WON LOST PCT GB MAGIC# 2010 Rolling Hills RHW 84 38 .689 ---- 19 2010 Pasadena PAA 62 60 .508 22.0 2010 Washington WWP 51 71 .418 33.0 2010 San Pedro SPS 50 72 .410 34.0 2010 Woodridge WRE 49 73 .402 35.0 2010 Burbank BBS 48 74 .393 36.0

Division 2 WON LOST PCT GB MAGIC# 2010 Camarillo CMC 79 43 .648 ---- 36 2010 Manorfield MFM 74 48 .607 5.0 2010 Boondock BDL 70 52 .574 9.0 2010 Oregon OBW 56 66 .459 23.0 2010 South Park SPB 51 71 .418 28.0 2010 Marin MTW 44 78 .361 35.0

Division 3 WON LOST PCT GB MAGIC# 2010 Texas TRR 89 33 .730 ---- 30 2010 Azusa ANM 78 44 .639 11.0 2010 Anaheim ANE 69 53 .566 20.0 2010 Annapolis AAD 60 62 .492 29.0 2010 Orange County OCG 49 73 .402 40.0 2010 Sonoma SOW 35 87 .287 54.0

not a lot of change. Rolling Hills and Texas seem to have their divisions locked up while Camarillo is maintaining a comfortable, but I hope not insurmountable lead. Boondock and Anaheim don’t appear to be facing significant challenges for the wildcard slots and Boondock could conceivably pass Manorfield to earn the 2nd place berth in D2 and improve his seeding. Pasadena has a solid grip on the 2nd place playoff berth in D1 as does Azusa in D3. Sonoma is running away with the Stratsberg Sweepstakes.
