**For those of you who have not turned in your November payments, please give to JoAnne at Tuesdays practice.**  

Please note that the $122 payment for December is due on the 1st and by then we will have deducted (if applicable) your portion of the cookie dough fundraiser from that payment.  I will have the amount owing emailed to you prior to the due date.  

Due to the fact that we paid for the month of July even though we "were on break", all payments to Elite 98G will end AFTER your December payment has been made.  If you have a large balance owing, please continue to make payments until your balance is $0.  Even though we are to be paying through December, if you have failed to make payments during this season, you must still make payments to your account until the full amount owing to the team by your family is made.  I will be in contact with those of you in that situation until your balance owing is paid.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at K2RMOM@GMAIL.COM

Get ready for some fun!!

 Date:  Saturday November 15

Time:  6 pm - up to 10pm

Place:  4005 Madison Pointe Way

Directions:  from Standiford turn north onto Prescott.  At Snyder turn right.  Turn left at Madison Pointe (second house on left) 

Cost:  $20 per family.  if giving a check, make it payable to Ajax Elite 98G.  This is a team fundraiser and the $20 goes directly to the team account. 

Because the girls have a game at Roosevelt on Sunday and have to be on the field at 10am, I thought it be best that the Pasta Fest be over at 10pm.  This gives everyone enough time for sleep and the girls to be ready for our last NorCal game.  

It would be appreciated if the families listed below bring enough for about 30 people.  We are expecting to have the majority of the girls and their families attend and we don't want to run out of food.  Also, if you want you can BYOAB (bring your own adult beverage).

Would you be interested in paying $20 per family to participate in a team pasta fest?  

A few of us have discussed one of the ways we, as a team, can generate "quick money" was to have a Pasta Fest Nite for the team.  

Each family would pay $20 and bring a side dish, dessert etc.  We would like to know which families would be interested.  

Bernie and Jeff Jamero have graciously offered their home in Ripon for this party.  The party we would like to schedule and have before the Thanksgiving holiday.  The date, we thought, would be Friday November 14.

Just a reminder that we have a game on Friday, October 17th at the Riverbanks Sports Complex.  Game time is 6:30, girls will need to be on the field 1 hour before. 

Our game for Sunday, October 19th is at 10:00 a.m. at Roosevelt, Field (2). 

Girls need to wear WHITE, GREEN, GREEN for Friday's game. Sunday's game will be GREEN, BLACK, BLACK.  As always make sure the girls bring both sets of uniforms.

 WARMUPS:

For the warmups: Pro Soccer would like for the parents to right the check to the club (Ajax). Once we receive your check(s), we will write one check to the store.  If your child needs socks, they are I believe 5.00.

GAME TIME IS 9:00.  BE ON FIELD AT 1 HOUR BEFORE.

We have the cards now.  I just received them in the mail.  I will be handing 16 cards to each family to distribute them as you want.  There isn't any personal information on the cards so if they are lost or stolen, there isn't anything that you need to worry about.

Each time the card is swiped, Ajax Club will receive 1% of your qualified purchase and our Elite 98G TEAM will receive 2%.  As this is a CLUB and TEAM fundraiser, there will NOT be any individual player credit.  All proceeds go to benefit the team as a whole.  

I will have an envelope with cards for each player at practice tomorrow (Wednesday 10-8).  The cards are "ready to go", so hand them out to friends and family and let them know that they are helping out not only our team but also the Ajax organization.

I'm working on scheduling our Norcal Game for this Saturday.  I have scheduled the time for 3:00 p.m. however, the other team is having a conflict, but trying to resolve it.  I have not heard back from the coach yet.  I will keep everyone posted.  The game will be played at Roosevelt.

The schedule for this week's practice is as follows:

 Monday, Sept. 29th. - 4:00 - 5:30 @ Beyer High

Wednesday, October 1st - 4:00 - 5:30 @ Beyer High

Friday, October 3rd - 5:00 - 7:00 (training with Atma) Roosevelt.

* For the training, it may end earlier depending on how soon it gets dark.

 I'm also in the process of finishing up the schedule for Norcal.  The CYSA Schedule has FINALLY!! come out.  So keep checking the website for schedules.

Not sure if you have been checking the tournament website periodically....they keep changing the teams in our pool.  The two teams, Elite 98G and Explosion are the constant, its the third team that seems to keep changing.  We are trying to keep up with the changes and post them on the site, sometimes we may miss....

Please make sure and check the schedule (click on the headline).  I will post the "final" schedule once I check the team in on Friday night.  Please be sure to check Friday  before coming up on Saturday.

So far there has only been one time change and no field change, but who knows at this point....

hello.  Everyone has probably been wondering why the teams we seem to be playing in this league so far aren't "as competitive" as the teams we have recently played in the tournaments or aren't the teams we are "used to" playing that are at the same level as our team is (ie. danville, boca, santa clara sporting...etc.).  

I have added the link (click the headline) that sort of explains why we are playing the teams we are and what NorCal's explanation of why teams are seeded the way they are at this point.

 Hopefully when it gets to the end, we will play more competitive games, we will have to wait and see what they do in the next round with the record we will have at the end.

CYSA has scheduled Ninos' U12 team for 2 games on Saturday.  As of right now we WILL NOT be playing at 230pm this Saturday.  We are working to re-schedule the game for either an EARLIER time or LATER SATURDAY.  Please keep this day open as we are trying to schedule the game for this day just different time.  We will keep you posted.  Please check back to this site in the next couple of days for the update on this game.

We have scheduled the next game for Saturday, September 13th at 3:00 p.m. at Roosevelt, Field 1 (close to Obriens). Our Norcal State Cup Prelim. game is on Sunday, September 14th at 2:00 at Roosevelt, Field 2.

The game for the 20th (Norcal) is scheduled to be in Manteca.  I'm working on getting that scheduled at 3:00, but waiting on confirmation.  The Norcal State Cup Prelim, game is scheduled for the 21st, at 3:00 at Roosevelt, and again waiting for confirmation from the other team.  Just kind of wanted to give you all an idea of whats coming up.

I haven't received confirmation from Battle by the Bay yet, which is scheduled for September 27 & 28.  As soon as I hear, and get the schedule, I will let everyone know.

 I think that is it for now!!.

Training has been cancelled as we would like to take the girls to the CSU Womans Soccer Game, hosted at Turlock Soccr Complex.  They will be playing Hawaii-Hilo.  The game starts at 4:00 p.m.

we are now registered for this tournament.  it is scheduled for sept 27 & 28.  we have not been accepted just yet.  as soon as we are we will let everyone know.  just wanted to give a "heads up" for this weekend in september as it was not originally scheduled as a tournament we were participating in.

Hello everyone,

In the next couple of days I will be sending email statements for each players account.  It will show either a "credit" or "amount due".  Please be aware that ALL team dues are due on the first of each month, as stated on the "Projected Expense Summary" that we all received at the beginning of the season.

Please also bear in mind that this is a "PROJECTED" summary of expenses and that tournament costs, additional equipment expenses and other miscellaneous expenses arise, and as they arise or rise, our team monthly dues do not increase.  Due to the fact that our per player team monthly dues do not increase it is up to all of us as a TEAM to participate in any fundraiser that our team may have and that the money will go towards the teams expenses.  If there are individual fundraisers the individual player will get a credit.  If it is a team fundraiser, which is pointed out at the beginning of the fundraiser itself, the profits will go to the team as a whole to cover expenses not expected.   

We had a meeting on the Savemart SHARES card which is a very exciting and financially rewarding fundraiser for AJAX as a whole but for individual teams as well.  We will have more information in the coming week.  Please stay tuned :)

The coach of the CSUS soccer team has contacted Mark regarding having our team be the Ball Kidz for one or some of their soccer games.  If the girls are interested please let DeAnn know so that we can schedule the girls to be at their game.  The availability of the girls would obviously depend on their own game schedule.  In reviewing the dates that Gabe Bolton gave me, the one weekend that we know for sure the girls do not have a game is on Saturday August 23rd.  Who is interested and woulld like to be a Ball Kid for the CSUS soccer team?  Please let me know ASAP by phone:  614-4875 or email:  deann.ridenour@edwardjones.com or K2RMOM@gmail.com . 

The other dates are:

Sunday Oct 12   Sunday Oct 19  or Sunday Oct 26.  As we do not know our tourney schedule yet, I think that if the girls are to do, the date in August is the best.

The girls are to be at the game field ONE HOUR PRIOR to game time or at least 45 mins before.   Those that are not, without prior approval from Ninos, will not start in the game.

Since we had no responses in regards to the hotel reservations, you will be on your own, if you decide to stay overnight in Danville.

I realize that there was mass confusion when the uniforms were handed out at the Cal Cup Tournament, but we know that ALL uniform sets were complete when they were picked up from ProSoccer because a team rep helped bag up the uniforms.  So Please Please check and if you hae any extra items, please give to DeAnn asap.  Each person is supposed to have one full set so if you have an extra of something, please bring to practice.  Thanks

Come and watch the U18 Girls and the U17 Boys play a game against the Ajax coaches at Roosevelt Jr High School, Thursday July 17 at 7 pm.  

There will be food for sale and donations are gladly accepted.  These two teams will be traveling to Virginia for the National Championships.

We will have a Parent Meeting on July 17th at Roosevelt, from 5:15 to 6:00.  One parent must be present, as this is a mandatory meeting.

I have added the schedule for the teams requirement to help with the Academy Registration. We need 2 additional volunteers for this round of sign-ups.  Please answer or contact Regina or Lynette to sign up for the last dates - Aug 13th and Aug 20th.  Each person will work 2 shifts, one as a registration trainee and the other as the trainer.  

If you do not sign up for this round, you will be required to work the next round.  The registration is a year-round "event" and each parent will be required to work. 

We have been accepted into the Mustang Stampede Tournament August 7 (Th) - Aug 10 (Sun).

We were not originally accepted, but due to whatever circumstances we now have been.  Click on the heading of this message and it will take you to the Mustang Tournament Schedule.  I have updated the team calendar to reflect the games and location.

In the rush of it all I think that there were some uniforms that may have been mixed up with others.  If you have an extra jersey, only one sock or the wrong size, please email me at deann.ridenour@edwardjones.com.  I will be contacting ProSoccer to discuss some of the issues I know of.  

For those who had to either borrow or use someone else's jersey or socks, please make sure that you wash and return to DeAnn at the fireworks booth between 4 and 6 pm on Monday June 30.  I would like to keep these so that when we all come back in August the players who still need their uniform have all of it together.

We just received word that the fireworks script money does NOT have to be turned in until June 30.  You still have time to sell, sell, sell.  

The  script money or the leftover script is due to Regina and can be turned in at the Fireworks booth on Monday June 30 between 230pm & 6pm.  Regina will be at the booth during those times and you can turn in everything to her there. 

The booth will be located on Sisk Rd. in front of Michaels Craft Store.  The booth will be open beginning Monday June 30 and our team time is from 230pm & 6pm.

No scrimmage Tuesday June 24

Practice will be at Riverbank Tuesday June 24 from 5pm-630pm 

Practice Wednesday June 25 will be at ROOSEVELT from 5pm-630pm 

* In July there will be a break from practice and games.  Due to the fact that the season doesn't end until January and the girls have been playing and practicing since March, Mark thought it a good idea to give the girls and families a break during this month.  

* Please remember that monthly dues are due on the first of each month.  Please send your payments to:  4005 Madison Pointe Way, Modesto 95356.  

*The July payment is still due on the first.  If you refer back to our expense summary you will see that the payment schedule is through December, when in fact the season doesn't end until January.  The break has been calculated into the budget and though the season ends in January, there is not a payment due then. 

* Mark is looking into the many tournaments that the girls can play in.  We will give updates as we receive the information.

*Please pay your account current.  The team has many expenses we must pay for; uniforms, equipment, tournaments and training.  Please make sure that your account is up to date.  this will allow us to pay for the many expenses the team has.  Please also keep in mind that the tournaments the girls play in, the registration is usually due and must be paid a month in advance.  Your cooperation is appreciated.

*We should have our uniforms no later than Wednesday.  I will update you as I find out information.   

But, the team finished last Nor Cal State Cup in 18th place.  Based on our results in the Spring League and opposing coach reviews, we have moved up to #11 ranking in northern California.  This truly indicates the quality of our new players and the undoubted improvement of all the girls in such a short period of time. 

While #11 ranking is good and all, keep in mind:  Under 11 rankings and victories don't mean much if anything.  Hopefully, you have all noticed the vast improvements being made by the girls, who have shown well in the past couple of scrimmages against a top ten team from the age group above us.  Development is the name of the game at this age and the team is moving along great.  Keep up all the encouragement and good work.

The game schedule for the Cal Cup tourney the weekend of June 27-29 should be posted Monday June 16.  

Please check the website or check the eteamz calendar for the schedule.  We will also post any updated game times and locations on the calendar.  Please check periodically as things change.  

Also note that the tourney STARTS on FRIDAY JUNE 27.  We may not have a game scheduled for Friday, but please be aware that we MIGHT.

As a reminder, the uniform sizes are due today.  We will be calling in all sizes to Pro Soccer Friday Morning.  If you know your child's size, you can give those to either DeAnn or JoAnne at practice today, or if you are comfortable with what was given in the beginning we will leave those alone.
