Are there any discounts offered?There are discounts available to UNC Charlotte faculty and staff and to former Charlotte 49er Baseball Players and their families. Please contact Assistant Coach Brandon Hall for more details. Back to top What is the camp refund policy?Refunds will be given in the case of injury or illness only. A medical excuse from the student's physician is required. Back to top What forms are required in order for my child to participate?We require each camper have a medical release on file prior to participating in the camp. The registration form on this website will take care of any necessary paperwork. Back to top What items should my child bring to camp?Of course they should bring their own glove and bat if they have one. Campers should alos bring their helmet if they have one. Baseball cleats along with tennis shoes in case of inclement weather. Back to top Where and when is check in?Check in will take place at our stadium entrance on the campus of UNC Charlotte. The check in time will be sent to you along with your confirmation information. Back to top How do I get to camp? (Driving directions) CLICK HERE for printable directions Back to top What meals are provided?At this time, we can not provide any meals to campers. We will have a trainer on site who will have make sure each camper is getting plenty of liquids. For camps that have meal breaks, we will provide cool areas to store food. Back to top What is a typical day like?Day Camp - Early arrival begins at 7:45. Camp begins at 9am. There are several stations prior to lunch and a couple after lunch. After the stations, we go into our games. Each day will end with a review. Camp concludes at 4pm. Late pick up is held until 5:15pm. Back to top What do we do in case of imclement weather?The 49er staff and camps are equipped to deal with inclement weather. Camp will go as scheduled. Back to top What time does drop off begin and we can we pick up our camper?For day camps we will provide early arrival from 7:45am - 9:00am when the camp begins. Pick up from camp begins at 4:00pm and runs until 5:15pm. For our Showcase Camps, campers should be at the field no later than 15 minutes prior to camp and are free to leave when their rotations are done each day. Back to top Is there a medical staff at camp?We will have a full time trainer as part of our staff for each camp. This trainer will help with any injuries and injury prevention. The trainer will also provide water and other refreshments throughout camp. Back to top |
