SOCCER NEWS
The Umatilla Soccer League (USL) is currently accepting registration for the up coming spring season. Registration can be completed online at www.eayso.org.
Also, there will be registration on December 19, 2009 at the Dominos at the corner of 44&19 in Eustis from 9am to 1pm and on January 16, 2010 from 9am to 2pm at North Point Fellowship Church located in the Save-A-Lot Parking Plaza in Umatilla. The cost of registration is $ 65 per child.
Practices start the week of February 15, 2010. The parent meeting will be on February 15th at 6:00 – team and coach assignment will be done at that time. Games begin the week of March 5, 2010. The season ends on May 1, 2010. All games will be at the North Lake Community Park located on C.R. 450 in Umatilla. USL is a member of the American Youth Soccer Organization a 501(c)(3) organization. USL plays a 4v4 game. This format is currently the hottest program in soccer with smaller fields, fewer players and no goalie. The intent is to develop player skills. Come experience this soccer craze.
We offer Pop Warner Football & Cheerleading for the ages of 5 - 15 that will begin August 1 2010. Open registration begins March 6th at the GLYAP's 6th Annual Chili Cook-Off.
