The UL Vikings are delighted to announce that they will be playing a pre-season friendly against the Philadelphia Police and Fire Department team, nicknamed the "Blue Flame".The game will be part of a football festival held in Dingle for the last 25 years. The game will take place in Dingle on the 28th of February and will be an amazing spectacle to watch. The Blue Flame are regarded as one of the premier semi-pro teams in the USA and play other police and fire department teams on the east coast of America. The Vikings will be using this game to prepare themselves for the 2009 IAFL season and will seek to emulate Munsters recent efforts against the All Blacks, maybe go a step further. We look forward to the challenge and invite any and all our great supporters and all our past players to get down to Dingle to cheer us on....
