Scholarship Application
Annual Scholarship Award --
Beginning in 2007, Urbandale Little League will annually award one Senior League 16 year old player with a one time scholarship in the range of $500 - $1000. The award amount will be determined by the Urbandale Little League Executive Committee each year based on the funds available to the league that year. The scholarship check will be made payable to the student and their selected college or university. The scholarship money must be used directly for secondary educational purposes on books, tuition, or housing in the year awarded. Applications will be evaluated by the members of the Urbandale Little League Executive Committee based on player contributions to Urbandale Little League, involvement in community activities, and the recommendation of others.
The application must be completed and mailed by May 18

Volunteer Opportunities
Urbandale Little League is always looking for volunteers to help out during the year with tournaments, field preperations, coaching, etc. To find out more about volunteering opportunities contact any board member.

All local Little Leagues are now required to conduct background checks on Managers, Coaches, Board of Directors members and any other persons, volunteers or hired workers, who provide regular service to the league and/or have repetitive access to, or contact with, players or teams. Individuals are also required to complete and submit a Little League Volunteer Application to their local league. For additional information, click here.
