Welcome to the homepage of the UGH FURY women's soccer team of Philadelphia, PA
EPSA 2011-2012 Women's Cup CHAMPIONS
2011 USL of Philadelphia Fall Season CHAMPIONS
About us:
The UGH FURY is an amateur women's soccer team that plays at the United German Hungarian Club in Oakford, PA. Most of the players on the Fury are current and former college players or have stayed competitive through the various club teams in the area.
The team plays year-round, with fall and spring seasons in the ultra-competitive United Soccer League of Philadelphia, a winter indoor season at the YSC Sports, and a laid-back summer league on our home fields at UGH. We also compete in the USASA National Cups every year, which includes many of the top amateur teams in the country.
If you are interested in playing for the Fury, please email head coach Barry Harvey at soccerdad9@comcast.net. Be sure to include a brief explanation of your playing history.
The UGH Fury have won the state round of the 2011-2012 USASA Women's Cup!
The ladies will now advance to the regional round, which is slated to begin in the spring and will feature state round winners in Region 1 states. These are the best amateur teams in the country, and the UGH Fury are proud to be among them.
Good luck ladies!
Beef & Beer: Appreciation and Thanks
The UGH Fury would like to give a special thanks to all of the guest, donation, and business support we received for our beef & beer on February 4. The night was a massive success, and we truly appreciate everyone's help in making our National Cup run possible.
UGH FURY WOMEN'S MAJORS - 2012 BEEF & BEER
The UGH Fury are holding a beef & beer fundraiser on February 4, 2012 from 8 to 12 p.m. at the United German Hungarian club. Tickets are $25, which includes beef, beer, raffles, games and much more.
Proceeds will help fund our USASA National Cup run.
We are also looking for businesses who would be interested in donating goods and/or services that can be raffled off at the event. By donating your good, you'll benefit from exposure, as all donors will be listed on the event program and your items will also be on display throughout the event. You may also provide business cards or other information about your company to be displayed.
