Upland Foothill Little League: Welcome

Established in 1956, Upland Foothill Little League is located at 1500 W. 24th Street, Flowers Field, San Antonio Park, and includes boys and girls from the ages of four (4) to twelve (12) years old. Our goal is to teach the fundamentals of baseball while exposing our children to all of the fun and enjoyment that baseball can bring! UFLL Spring 2012 Season Status

Upland Foothill Little League has been notified that our charter has been placed on hold until certain league issues can be addressed sufficiently to warrant the removal of the hold status.   In effect this means that all UFLL activities must cease until the matters in question are resolved.

In a written statement forwarded to UFLL Board members through our District office, Western Region has indicated the following: 

"the Upland Foothill LL Charter has been placed on hold pending a written response by each individually identified “Board Member” concerning reports of violations of Little League Rules, Regulations and guidelines.  This means that the league cannot operate under our banner until these issues are resolved and the hold has been lifted….”

Members of the UFLL board are currently working individually to respond to the concerns which have been raised.  This initial response period is slated to run through 2/8/2012 after which we will be advised further by District, Western Region, and Charter Committee personnel.

UFLL Local Rules and Constitution - download here!



Upland Foothill Little League is regulated by the Rules and Bylaws of Little League International and the many publications they provide.  One of the most well-known documents is commonly referred to as "The Green Book."   The Green Book describes the general rules and regulations of Little League baseball games, including seasonal and tournament game rules (including All-stars).  

Rules within the Green Book are frequently augmented by local chapters of Little League, including UFLL, via a document known as the "Local Rules."  Each chapter of Little League must have their unique version of the Local Rules approved by the local district in which they participate.

Enough copies of the Green Book are provided to UFLL to distribute to each manager in each division, as well as all board members.   Additional copies can be ordered directly from Little League International.   UFLL Local Rules are available for download on this site.

Another document governing UFLL is our Constitution.  This manual outlines the operation of the league, the composition of the board, required committees, voting and other general processes that must be followed by the board.  The Constitution must be regularly reviewed, updated, submitted to, and approved by Little League International.
