UCNLL: Welcome

Message from UCNLL President

Welcome to the 2014 season of Union City National Little League baseball!  We are looking forward to a wonderful season full of fun, laughs, making new friends and all the while learning the game of baseball.  This year’s goals and objective is team building.  Making sure that the board is in constant communication with each other and make sure we constantly communicate with the managers and coaches.  Making sure all the information gets to the parents not only by way of the team parents but also by way of the board.  Lastly making sure we all work cohesively to create a stronger Union City National Little League.

Myself and the rest of the Union City National 2014 Board of Directors look forward to seeing you all in the spring … Go UC!!!!!

There have been several phone calls, emails and text messages to UCNLL regarding player eligibility here is information on changes to residency requirements for all Little League players from the Little League website posted in the news bulletin on November 27, 2013:

“In an effort to accommodate for Little Leaguers to play with their classmates, and ease the burden on parents and guardians, Little League has amended its residency requirements to allow children to play in the local league whose boundaries where they attend school is located. To verify enrollment, parents will need to bring an official school document, such as a report card or school enrollment form, confirming enrollment in the school for the current academic year, dated before October 1, 2013”

They continued to state, “Little League is always looking for more ways to give all children the opportunity to have the best Little League experience possible,” said Patrick Wilson, Little League Senior Vice President of Operations and Program Development. “This new rule will provide more flexibility for families to participate in the leagues that best fits their children.”

Please contact us if you feel this situation applies to you or would like more information.
