  News: Sharks dominate Kings  
 

Sharks dominate Kings
The Sunderland Kings travelled to Hull to take on the UCH Sharks in this North Eastern match. The Sharks won the toss and deferred their decision till the second half. The Kings elected to receive the ball. The Sharks defence held strong and forced the punt. The Sharks offence took to the field and moved the ball well in a drive that ended with a 3 yard touchdown run by James Tait. The 2 PAT failed. The scoring continued into the second quarter with a fifteen yard pass from Marc Gent to Phil Fitzpatrick for the score. The two point conversion was run in by Matt Pringle. Phil Fitzpatrick added a third score in the third quarter with a 12 yard run. James Tait ran three yards to add two extra points. A further two points were added when James Martin and RJ Stockdale sacked Sunderland’s QB for a safety. In the fourth quarter Eric Kempen added two more scores on 25 and 13 yard runs. Both were converted with receptions from Marc Gent, the first to Mike Collins and the second to Eric Kempen. The final score was 40-0.
