UPDATE
After
decades of Wilmington Wheels and Wilmington Typhoon Youth Ice Hockey,
the Skating Club of Wilmington has terminated its Ice Hockey program.
The Wilmington teams were the most successful Delaware organization and
one of the top programs in the DVHL and Atlantic Division. Most of the
former Typhoon players who have not moved onto college, Juniors, or AAA
level ice hockey are with the Delaware Ducks organization which was
merged between the two clubs and some of those teams are at the top of
their divisions at the AA level. Those interested in following former
players at the college level can check this site and those following
Youth level players can check the DE Ducks website. We invite all
former players to update us on their ice hockey involvement in any
capacity (player, coach. etc.) by clicking on the blue underlined

This site follows a particular group of players over the past 7
seasons with records/individual and team statistics. These TYPHOON
teams include: 2000 PeeWee A; 2001 Bantam B; 2002 Bantam A;
2003 Midget Minor (U-16) A; 2004 Midget Minor (U-16) A; 2005 Midget
Major (U-18) A; 2006 Midget Major (U-18) A; 2007 Midget Major (U-18) AA
teams.

Below is last year's DVHL and Atlantic Division Midget Major (U-1) AA results.
Congratulations to the York Devils who captured first place in the DVHL
U-18AA Division. The TYPHOON captured second; Wintersport third, and
Hershey fourth place; all 4 teams will be going to Districts. Here are
their records:
York 14-1-3 31 points
TYPHOON 12-2-4 28 points
Wintersport 9-4-5 23 points
Hershey 10-5-3 23 points
The 4 NJYHL Teams advancing to Districts are:
Brick 13-1-2 28 points
NJ Colonials White 13-2-1 27 points
Jaguars 12-3-1 25 points
Hollydell Hurricanes 11-5-0 22 points
The NJ Devils who finished in 4th place and qualified for the Atlantic
District playoff have stepped down due to player shortages. They
finished: 11-4-1 23 points.
