Welcome to the Texas Starz Site
We are a Select traveling team located in Houston, Texas. Our team is comprised of girls in and around the Houston area that give 150% on Game days and never give up. They respect all on and off the field and fear none while on the field. They are true athletes in every sense of the word.
Our team is a 18&U A team and expect to compete at the highest level this season. The young ladies on the team are ready to take on this season with full force. This year we will be competing in ASA, & AFA. We will also be playing in college exposure tournaments as well.
Our philosophy of teaching and playing is encouragement and enthusiasm. We believe to have a player rise to their highest potential, the coaching staff must provide the proper instruction while focusing on their strengths and working on their weaknesses. One of the ways to accomplish this goal is to offer positive support to all of our players. The team is coached in all aspects of playing competitive . In addition, a strong emphasis is placed on academic excellence, good sportsmanship and positive behavior.
