Baseball Tomorrow Fund 2001 Grant
Texarkana Fastpitch Softball formerly Texarkana Independent Youth Softball League was awarded a $54,325 grant from the Baseball Tomorrow Fund in 2001 to refurbish Karrh Park into a state of the art fast pitch softball complex by resurfacing the infields, upgrading the dugouts & backstops, building batting cages & bullpens, installing sprinkler systems, scoreboards and a public address system.
The Baseball Tomorrow Fund was designed to promote and enhance the growth of baseball among youth in the United States, Canada and throughout the world. Major League Baseball (MLB) and the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) developed the program as a collaborative effort to ensure the future of baseball.

Texarkana Fastpitch Dually Sanctioned USSSA & ASA
Texarkana Fastpitch Softball formerly Texarkana Independent Youth Softball League is proud to be dually sanctioned with USSSA and ASA. Teams from our league can qualify to play in Texas or Arkansas USSSA State and beyond as well as Texas District 44 ASA and beyond.

Edge of Texas Fall State Qualifier Oct. 3 & 4 2009- 4gg $275 for 8u, 10u, 12u and 14u.
Monster Mash State Qualifier Oct. 31 2009- 2gg $200 for 8u, 10u, 12u, and 14u.
