ABOUT THE TEAM: The Quiz Team season generally starts in December and runs through February, with after-school practices. The FAVC league matches are on Wednesdays after school, and there will be a bus provided for the away matches. There are also some weekend/overnight tournaments that are a lot of fun.
WALT COMSTOCK: A major highlight of the Quiz Team season is the Walter Comstock Memorial Tournament hosted by Turpin to be held on TBA Check out the Walter Comstock Memorial Academic Tournament website for more information about the history of this tournament.
The 2008 WMCAT was a resounding success with ten schools participating: Amelia, Fisher Catholic, Madeira, Miami Valley, Milford, Northmont, Northwest, Tippecanoe, Turpin, and Walnut Hills. There were 12 varsity teams and 8 junior varsity teams. Congratulations to this year's varsity champion, Fisher Catholic, who beat the 2nd place team, Madeira. Congratulations also to the JV champion, Walnut Hills, who went undefeated! Detailed results can be found by clicking on the Tournament Info page in the menu at left.
