18U TUFF-N-TUFFER GOLD: Great Story 1 & 2

Thursday, February 7

Dear Coach Godard: Playing for TNT Gold has been a dream of mine since I was in sixth grade.  Ever since I watched my first TNT game and saw the level of skill and competition, I knew this was the team I wanted to play for someday.  Over the years I have worked hard towards achieving this dream including speed and agility training, pitching lessons, hitting lessons and practicing on my own.  I follow what you tell all your players and I work hard Monday through Thursday. .......... maybe someday I’ll be able to play for TNT Gold. I think I will be a good fit for your team because I work hard, I never give up and most importantly, I love the game.  Some people say I will never play college softball team because of my height.  That doesn’t bother me.  It only makes me want work harder to prove that I can hang with the “big” girls.  Just because I am short doesn’t mean I can’t achieve my goals. I am attaching my softball resume to this email.  I hope you will take a look at it and give me a chance to tryout for the Gold team .   Thank you, Kate

We are very proud to annouce that Kate did make the team, furthmore she continues to amaze those around her, her drive & determination is just incredible. This is why we (coaches) do what we do.

YOU GO GIRL, Kate is now attending Temple University

Coach Roy:.......my daughter, Caitlin will be attending your TNT tryouts. While you may not remember her as a U10, you invited Cait to one of your practices years ago in Lambertville where she worked in with your girls. She has never forgotten that and still has the TNT visor you gave her back then. She has always set a goal to play for TNT so for her, she is very excited and looks forward to seeing you again.
Regards, Joe

And guess what , She made the team, and did it the old fashion way , she EARNED IT
