ATTENTION:EQUIPMENT ISSUANCE
Parents: PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN CHINSTRAPS
In years past, every registration date had someone in the equipment room to hand out equipment as the child is registering. This has become labor intensive and has stretched our core workers to the limit. We have consulted with other youth football leagues in the area and have determined that other leagues have specific dates for equipment issuance. This allows time to organize returned equipment and assess needs for new equipment. Therefore, the equipment room will not be open to issue equipment each and every registration date. The following dates and times have been set for issuance of equipment:
Date and Time_ ____ Saturday June 27, 2009 :10:00 a.m. til 1:00 p.m. Saturday July 11, 2009 :10:00 a.m. til 2:00 p.m. Tuesday July 14, 2009 : 5:15 pm til 5:45 pm and 8:15 til 8:45pm Wednesday July 15, 5:15 pm til 5:45 pm and 8:15 til 8:45 Saturday July 18, 2009 10:00 a.m. til 2:00 p.m.
You will not need to go through registration again, but must bring your copy of your registration receipt with you directly to the equipment room (located in the locker room building). If you have misplaced your copy of the receipt, please go upstairs and a copy will be made for you. Also, if your child loses parts of his equipment (e.g. chinstrap or shoulderpad clip), these items may be purchased from the concession stand. The equipment personnel are instructed not to provide these parts. Last year close to $500 was spent for such replacement parts. Remember, per league rules, no equipment may be issued until ALL fees have been paid. Please understand that we do not wish to be harsh but this equipment represents quite an investment of money and labor. Additionally, any children registering or returning after tryouts begin, will have to wait until after practice to obtain equipment. The equipment room will be open from 5:15 til 5:45 before practice and 8:15 til 8:45 after practice. All of our equipment personnel are active coaches.
