Matthew Potter’s Eagle Project 9/3/09Attention Scouts, Friends, Parents, and Family Members: As some of you may already be aware of I, Matthew Potter, am currently working on an Eagle Project, which involves working in the Connecticut Farms Church’s cemetery. The project scope currently includes: 1. To provide and install lighting in the cemetery suitable for illuminating the area while not creating a negative impact on the adjacent residential properties. The new lighting will be located along the west side of the cemetery. 2. Preparing and Painting the wrought iron fence 3. Installing a Marquee Plaque 4. Installation of visual screen blocking the A/C units on the side of the Church building I NEED YOUR HELP: I would greatly appreciate your helping hand in allowing me to use your knowledge, skills, tools, and support to succeed in my goal. I will be forwarding a discovery list to all members of my team. This will help me to better coordinate and schedule your help with my Eagle Project. Volunteers please contact me, as soon as possible by email at: mattpotter3@comcast.net, or phone (908) 687-6320.Thank you, Matthew Potter ***The Troop Calendar is updated to the end of October. To all Scouts and Parents:
Re: Phone Calls to Scout Leaders
As a courtesy to others please limit your calls to Mr. Lewis or any other Scout Leader to the hours of 9 AM and 9 PM. All Leaders can be e-mailed at any time of day and they will respond to your message ASAP. Leader e-mail addresses are listed on the roster page of the troop web site.
All Scouts must make their own calls. From this point on, parents that call for their scout will not receive an answer to their question. It is encouraged that parents listen in to the phone call but the scout must learn to speak for himself.
If the question can wait until the next Troop Meeting please hold your question until then. The more parents do for their scouts the less the scout will do for himself.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
