Troop 57 is co-chartered to Alpine Lutheran Church and the Alpine Scouters Association. We serve age 11 thru 17 boys from the metro area of the city of Rockford, Illinois. We are a proud long established troop celebrating our 70th anniversary in 2009 and have been chartered to Alpine Lutheran for 60 years. We offer a high quality BSA scouting program stressing camping, outdoor activities, high adventure and advancement of as many scouts as possible toward the rank of Eagle Scout. We observe and promote high standards of conduct, appearance and achievment to our scouts but also strive to make fun and enjoyment an integral part of our program. We are guided by the principles set forth by the Scout Oath, Scout Law, Scout Motto, Scout Slogan and the Outdoor Code. It is our goal to help boys become responsible young men of good character who make a positive contribution to the community.
