Troop 189 14,000 Foot Club
(July 10) Three Scouts and two Adults climbed to the top of Mount Yale near Buena Vista, Colorado. This was two days before the end of our high adventure trip to Colorado. Gary A., Paul A., Pat C., Brad W., and Brent W. made the ascent to 14,196 feet.

New Eagle Scouts!
(August 20) Michael C. received his Eagle award. His Eagle project was to renovate a trail in Kansas City, Kansas. (September 17) Paul A. followed by earning his Eagle award. His Eagle project was to build a retaining wall in Bonner Springs, Kansas. (October 21) Brent W. became our third Eagle in three months. His Eagle project was to clean downed tree limbs from a creekbed. (April 21) Scott M. was awarded the Eagle rank. His project was to build a retaining wall also at the Hollis Center. Congratulations to these four Scouts!

Northern Tier Roundtable
(November 1) At the Village Presbyterian Church, 7:00. Here, Eagle project proposals and Eagle applications are turned in, OA Chapter 13 meets, and the district announces upcoming events.
