Medal Presentation - Sunday
Everyone must be at Lourdes between 1:15 and 1:30. We are part of the opening ceremony so don't be late. I want a group picture so don't be late. Remember, this is not a Mass. Everyone dress appropriately and wear your sash. Please call me with questions. Leave your coat, purse, camera with your family. There is no reserved seating for family, just girls and leaders.
Girls will receive medals at Our Lady of Lourdes on February 26th at 2:00, followed by an early dinner at 4:00 at the Golden Corral, all on the west side. Directions to both will follow. We have a private room reserved at Golden Corral but the manager needs to set up the appropriate number of seats. Everyone must RSVP (that means call with a yes or no answer and number attending) to Marianne Schwerman by February 1. Remember, all family members (including Grandma and Grandpa or anyone else you'd like to share this with) are invited. You've worked hard and should feel proud!!! Cost is $9.00 per adult plus the cost of your drink (ages 12 and up) and less for children, payable at the register that day. Please E-mail or call Marianne at:

Studio 2B link
Please check the link section in the column on the left to visit the Studio 2B site. These will be fun things for you to earn on your own or in a small group, without your leader. (We'll certainly advise you!) Once on the site, click "find out more", then "boutique" and finally "focus books" (Write this down before you hit the link and forget where I told you to go.) The focus books are what you'll use to earn Girl Scout charms. Our troop will own a set of the books. when you want to earn a charm, you can borrow a book from the troop and return it when you are done. Or, if you prefer, you can buy the book for yourself (so you can write in it) either on line or at council store. Once completed, the troop will buy you the charm. Questions? Call me. You can earn any charm except, "looking out, reaching in" or "uniquely me, the real deal". We'll do those together at a later date.
