WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE FOR GIRL SCOUT AMBASSADOR TROOP 30150!

Our Girl Scout Troop was formed back in September 1998 as first year Brownies. Although some of the faces have changed, we have kept a core group of girls now entering our first year as Ambassadors! We are working towards earning our Gold Award. Please check back often to see news and updates on our troop!

THIS MONTH'S FOOD FOR THOUGHT
"Not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them, is the true measure of our thanksgiving."

GO PHILLIES!

NOVEMBER

Last month was a busy one, beginning with the Stratford Fall Festival.  Did you know we helped over 400 children paint pumpkins?  Great job girls!  Then we wrapped up our magazine and candy sale which netted the troop over $160.  We’ll use this profit to offset our community service project – Empty Soup Bowls for the hungry.  And we’ve even set up some time to paint a ceramic piece for ourselves!

Many of us enjoyed the Haunted Halloween tour in Blue Anchor.  Wasn’t that awesome?

And we ended the month with the Annual Hayride with our fellow Girl Scouts.  No pumpkin picking this year, but we still had a good time roasting hot dogs and marshmallows by the fire, and teaching the younger scouts some new songs.

We're still working on passes for the Thanksgiving Day Parade.  If that doesn’t work out, do we still want to go to the parade?  Or do we want to volunteer at the Campbell’s tent again?

Do we want to do a service project again this year?  Remember last year we collected nearly 50 coats for Camden’s youth.

And finally, Mrs. O has been working on organizing and getting approved our first money earning project of the year.  She’ll give us an update at our meeting.

Wow!  This month will be a busy one.  We’ll  start out with Stratford’s Fall Festival on October 4th, our QSP project (selling magazines and candy) throughout the month, and end with the annual Hayride with our fellow Girl Scouts.
