Welcome to Trojan Youth Wrestling!

Our goals for TYW are to have fun, develop wrestling skills, and foster a passion for the sport of wrestling.  While we all enjoy winning, TYW places an emphasis on growth of character as well as growth in strength, skill and endurance.   Helping our wrestlers learn the lessons both winning and losing have to teach will ultimately help them succeed in all aspects of life.  We love watching our Hershey wrestlers grow! If you share our vision, we'd be pleased to have you sign our guest book, explore our site, or register a wrestler. Registration is open to students in grades K through six.  Our competition season begins in December and ends in February.  Below are helpful tips in navigating the site.

  • For the latest updates click the TYW News link in the upper left menu box.
  • There are several helpful wrestling articles located under Handouts in the menu box.  You will also find tournament registrations there as well.
  • Our Wrestling Links page will take you to other sites of interest that we've found while crawling the web... everything from where to find more wrestling action to sports psychology.
  • Check out our Trojan Videos! Want to submit video of your wrestler for our site?  Post it on the web and send me the link.

TYW Takes 2nd at Penn Manor Team Tournament

Trojan Youth Wrestlers ended their season with a big 2nd place finish at the Penn Manor Team Tournament held February 28th.  Of the point earners in the team touranment 5 of those wrestlers were novice grapplers entered in the open tournament!

This has been a season to remember with our Hershey wrestlers bringing home more hardware than the previous two seasons combined.  We also finished our season with more wrestlers on the roster than when we started the season!  Congratulations wrestlers, coaches & dedicated parents!!

Cal Reichart Represents TYW at Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling Championships

Cal Reichart Cal Reichart represented TYW wrestling very well by going 2-2 during the two day Junior State Championship tournament in Erie Pennsylvania. Cal lost his first match in a close 4-3 decision. Cal turned it on in his next two matches winning 9-0 and 7-6 before losing his last bout 7-0 to the eventual 8th place finisher. Chris and Mary are very proud of Cal not only for his wrestling, but for the great sportsmanship he showed to his opponents and their coaching staff.

Cal's brother, Cade Reichart, competed in the Sectional trials trying to gain a berth in the state tournament. Cade placed fourth over-all giving a great effort and made us all proud to have him represent the school and our program.

On behalf of the TYW coaching staff and teammates, congratulations to both of our competitors...We are VERY proud you.
