The two most beautiful words in English are "PLAY BALL!"
A senior men's baseball league with teams from Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo Ontario. The hardball league has functioned since the early 1970's and is for men 18 and over.
The league has been growing over the last few years. Growth is due to a renewed interest in baseball at the grassroots level and in no small part to the hard work of League Executive. The Tricity mens baseball league has had the Tryouts for the 2009 season. Thanks to all of those who participated. We had a great turnout this season. If you didn't get put on a team, you are welcome to try again next spring. As for this year, you will be put on the spares list and could get a call if a team needs a player here and there. If you were unfortunate to find out about the tryouts too late, or couldn't make them, feel free to email Darryl and he can get you on the spares list for this season and get you on the tryout list for 2010 season. Its never to late or too early to sign up.
